Guided Tours Copenhagen is proud to offer high quality tours showing different neighbourhoods in Copenhagen’s inner city. Our tours provide the best possible way to see the main city sites while learning about history, culture, food, people, architecture, sculptures and so much more.
Tours run weekly on Thursdays in May.
From June to September, tours are available every Tuesday and Thursday. Private food tours in Copenhagen can also be booked on other days upon request.
On this guided walking tour, you will explore central Copenhagen while enjoying seven carefully selected tastings along the route. Each experience has been chosen to showcase both classic and contemporary Danish cuisine, giving you a well-rounded introduction to the local food scene.
Along the way, you will learn how Danish food culture has evolved from simple, traditional ingredients to a globally recognized culinary movement. This is a food tour designed for curious travelers who want more than just tastings.
You will taste a variety of Danish specialties, including smørrebrød, Danish pastries, fiskefrikadeller, local honey, snaps, and a seasonal dessert. Along the route, you will also experience a true Copenhagen classic: the “gå-bajer” -a cold beer enjoyed while walking through the city, just like the locals do.
Each tasting is paired with stories about the ingredients, the people behind them, and their place in Danish culture.
The tour starts in central Copenhagen and ends near the Opera House, covering approximately 4 km at a relaxed pace.
